Eunoia Medical is a new and innovative virtual mental health clinic for women.

Staffed by female family doctors with passion for and training in mental health treatment, Eunoia is designed to help patients get much-needed support and talk therapy, without having to pay out of pocket. We work collaboratively with primary care providers and psychiatry specialists to ensure our patients receive the appropriate care from the right provider, and avoid duplication of care.

Eunoia Medical is currently looking for female family physicians who want to provide comprehensive mental health care in our virtual clinic. Appointments in our virtual clinic are 60 minutes long, allowing patient and provider to fully explore all aspects of a patient's mental health issues.

In Eunoia, we primarily see women who are struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, perfectionism, people-pleasing, boundaries and self-care habits. Depending on provider, we provide a combination of cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy and supportive counselling in safe and accessible way.

Requirements of the position:

• Hold licensure through the CCFP and CPSA

• Hold active insurance through the CMPA

• Ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments including mental status examinations

• Willingness to work collaboratively and in consultation with primary care providers and psychiatry if and when needed (including sending consult letters)

• Additional training in CBT, DBT, trauma therapy, psychopharmacology an asset

• A passion for women’s mental health and comfort in coaching/counselling/providing talk therapy
